MSU police say to have fun responsibly during first ga

MSU police said they want to make sure everybody has fun responsibly.

Multiple agencies are on campus assisting police to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Tailgating is allowed on campus--but police are reminding people that you must be 21 years or older to consume alcohol. You cannot drink alcohol at Munn Field and you're not allowed to bring alcohol into the stadium.

In addition, police say it's important to come with a plan in mind and be with people you know.

Important to, you know, as your are celebrating a tailgate, do it with people that you know. Always have the buddy system. You know, and you kinda walk together to the stadium and walk back together. That way, cause sometimes people forget where they park or sometimes they get confused because they've never been on campus before. So that's why it's really important to have a strategy," MSU Police Captain Doug Monette said.
